Minutes of the DMTF Board Meeting

December 3, 2003, DMTV Studios

Attending: Connie Anderson, Jack Batzler, Pete Glaser, Jodi Kennedy, and Philippe Lamoise.

AGENDA President Pete Glaser opened meeting at 8:35 a.m. at the studio.

minutes from November 6, 2003 were distributed, read and approved.

Pete Glaser noted a quorum (four members) was present  to conduct business.

GRANTS It was moved and seconded to revise the Grant payments beginning in January 2004.  The pilot funding shall not exceed $500, and follow-on series programming shall be $400 program (4 @ $400 = $1,600.) 

Subsequent six months of funding at 50% of the continuing grant approved above (up to a maximum of $200 per program.) Total grants for any continuing program/series would not exceed $3,200.

Grant request by Marie Gardner to increase “Kids News” grant per program was approved ($400 x 4).

GROUP 66 STATUS Pete has received $17,530 to date, and hopes to reach the matching $20,000 goal before the end of the year. Several potential donors have been contacted and promised to respond this month. Jodi will meet with the Idol Committee for a debriefing and bring a report to the January meeting.  Discussion and plans for 2004 fund raising will be in January with all Board members present.

Pete announced the "Thank You" cards will be available early January and will need to be written; license plates (gifts for donors) will be available by December 31.

MEETING ADJOURNED

The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 due to a loss of the quorum. Other agenda items were discussed informally but no action taken.

The Foundation Board of Director’s Annual Meeting and Election of Officers is scheduled for early January at the home of President Pete Glaser. Expansion of the DMTF Board was deferred to January 2004.
