Del Mar has a
very important asset - a Community Television Station - Del Mar
TV 24. It is rare for a community our size to have such an asset. We must
preserve it. It is mostly funded by public donations, akin to PBS, but
Del Mar TV 24 concentrates on Del Mar community related issues.
This year, the
Foundation is, as you can see, raising the visibility and relevance
of Del Mar TV (DMTV24). Our new series, "Del Mar Hot
Topics," will directly address issues of public policy. Backed
by solid research and leading experts, these shows will allow residents
of Del Mar to evaluate important policy matters, hearing both sides of
issues and directly addressing Del Mar concerns. There is no other
place to get this important information, except on Del Mar TV.
We
need your help.
Without
additional funding and financial support from you, the members of our
community, we are in danger of losing this valuable community resource.
Although we do receive some funds from the city government, they are not
sufficient to cover all of our programming cost.
As a 501C(3)
non-profit organization we are here solely to provide you, the people of
Del Mar, with a unique product - the best in local, informative
television programming.
We
need your help,
Our public fund-raising goal this year is $30,000
Make an investment in Del Mar, and we will deliver!
