Grant Status

"Falcon News" ­ Board approved $136 for technical director for Torrey Pines High School students to use DMTV studio for "Falcon News" - Paul Martin, producer.

Del Mar Kelp Beds ­ Board approved $500 for program showing the replanting of the Del Mar kelp beds. Pete Glaser and Ingrid Hoffmeister to help secure additional funds for program. Jeff Stone, producer.

Board clarified "Pulse" protocol. Pulse producers to be selected by producers group. DMTF can suggest topics and provide funding.

DMTF Productions "Coastal Community Band" had originally been a "Pulse" and now will be extended to a 2830 ­ Bob Ganey, producer.

Del Mar Foundation ­ "Concert in the Park" - video concert July 7

Del Mar Foundation Children’s Program, "Summer Luau" at Powerhouse Park, July 18th ­ Jodi Kennedy, producer.

"Children’s History of Del Mar" ­ DM Historical Society is interested in selling videos on their website. DMTF agreed to sell videos to the DMHS for $8.00. Videos to retail for $20 ­ production cost $4 / DMTF net $8.00 per unit.

Del Mar City Budget Workshop

Pete submitted a budget for $21,000 for DMTF. In keeping with last year’s budget. Nicole will represent DMTF at workshop, May 27.

Equipment DMTF donated 2 VTRs and 1 teleprompter to City. DMTF to purchase 2nd teleprompter. DMTF also purchased - $1,200 and will donate the printer to the City.

Fundraising Board to meet Thursday May 13th at DMTV to discuss Fall Campaign & DM Idol

Board Expansion Board voted in favor of new board member, Philippe Lamoise. Philippe will continue his web services as an independent contractor.

DMTF board will attend next Producers Group meeting, May 19th to discuss Associate Board member positions available. Board is interesting in recruiting people to help with upcoming fundraising campaign and Del Mar Idol event.

One board position remains open.
