on the budget that would focus on how we spend our money in relation to
our goals.”
Peter showed the group the coverage from the newspaper of Monte
Carlo Night and mentioned that it was good but not as good as last year.
He felt that the lack of sponsors and the world situation made it less
successful than last year. Mary Hale disagreed and a spirited discussion
followed. There was a short discussion about whether we should continue
to hold Monte Carlo night next year. Another spirited discussion
followed It was agreed to put the question on next month’s agenda.
Peter presented the proposed
“Del Mar Television Foundation Grant Program Agreement”

foundation, Walt Beerle seconded it. It passed 6 to 0.

purchase general liability insurance for DMTF and also DMTF officers and
directors liability insurance. He’s received several quotes already.

upcoming events.
Peter reported on the funding of the river valley project.
We’ve received a total of $10,00 from the county, $5,000 from the San
Dieguito conservancy and hope to use the 30 second promo filmed from the
helicopter to solicit $5,000 from the Joint Powers Authority

outside service. It will eventually allows someone checking into our web

also allow us to get our programs beyond the boundaries of Del Mar.
